Reservation

Useful Information

• Reservations can be made by phone or online by following the reservation tab.
• A minimum stay of two nights is required for a reservation. For stays longer than 14 days, please contact us by phone.
• Please note that a minimum stay of 3 nights is required for Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, Canada Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
• Check-out time: 1:00 PM | Check-in time: 1:00 PM.
• We always keep some sites available for phone reservations.
• Cancellation – For any cancellation request, contact us by phone or email at [email protected].

Cancellation

If you cancel more than 48 hours before your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded, minus a $5 fee. Within 48 hours of your arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable.

Example: If you have a reservation from July 10 to July 15, you have until July 7 at 7:00 PM to notify us.

Le Genévrier will not provide any refund or discount due to bad weather or for any other reason.

General Rules

MESSAGE FROM MANAGEMENT

These rules exist to ensure everyone has an enjoyable stay at Le Genévrier while maximizing the quality of the facilities and environment. By choosing to stay at Le Genévrier, each guest agrees to abide by all the rules presented here. The management and staff of Le Genévrier reserve the right to intervene at any time with verbal warnings or even expel anyone refusing to comply with these regulations, without a refund.

Check-out Time

Campers must vacate their site by 1:00 PM on the day of departure. It is possible to leave Le Genévrier later, but the site must be vacated by 1:00 PM. For cabins, check-out is at 11:00 AM.

Be a Good Resident

Respect the environment. Cutting branches or trees on the property is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate expulsion. Pick up your trash before leaving and dispose of it in the designated bins in each section or in the container near the hall. Dumping trash or recyclables in fire pits or leaving them on-site is prohibited. Cleaning fees may apply if necessary.

Be a Good Neighbor

The curfew is set at 11:00 PM. Silence is required—no noise or music after this time. Respect your neighbors' sleep. During the day, the noise or music level must remain reasonable and should not be heard by neighbors. Respect your neighbors' peace and quiet.

Be Careful

• Campfires are only allowed in designated fire pits and must not be moved.
• Keep your fire at a reasonable height.
• Extinguish your fire before leaving your site.
• Follow SOPFEU guidelines during extreme fire risk periods.

Speed Limit and Traffic

Maximum speed: 8 km/h at all times and for all types of vehicles. Be cautious of children. Limit vehicle movement on the property to entry and exit only—avoid unnecessary drives. Walking is preferred. Mopeds, ATVs, and golf carts are not allowed.

Beer & Alcohol

Carrying beer or alcoholic beverages around the property is prohibited. Consumption must be done at your campsite. Bringing your own drink into the Genévrier hall is not allowed. Glass containers are strictly prohibited on the beach.

Bicycles Prohibited After 9:00 PM

For safety reasons, bicycle riding is not allowed after 9:00 PM.

Control Your Dog

Keep your dog on a leash at all times, clean up after them, and ensure they do not disturb neighbors. Dogs are not allowed in the swimming lake or on the beach.

Fireworks

Fireworks, bladed weapons, and toy weapons are prohibited everywhere on-site at all times.

Liability

Le Genévrier Inc. is not responsible for any damage, theft, or other incidents affecting the client's property during their stay.
